A new, brightly decorated bar is now open in Charlotte, and the theme feels like a girls’ night out.

Babe Cave, a bar and event space located in South End, is set to be what the name entails: a girls’ sanctuary. The 5,700-square-foot space is designed with women in mind and includes all the best — and Instagrammable — decor highlights that reflect it.

The Black-woman-owned bar offers cocktails, private event space, floral arrangement classes, candle-making and several photo installations at 3021 Bank Street, Suite 100.

From the large mirror at the entry to a giant fuschia-colored teddy bear with large eyelashes, colored drinking glasses and purple velvet seating, Babe Cave is poised to be the city’s next must-see stop for social media content creators, photo-lovers, cocktail enthusiasts and everyone in between.

Owner Robbie Guzman first opened Babe Cave in January 2022 in her 10,800-square-foot space formerly known as Good Life at Enderly Park, an event venue she opened in 2019.

In 2022, Guzman told QCity Metro she was “very intentional when putting the space together” and wanted to highlight its minority ownership.

The space closed later that year after an ongoing parking issue with a neighboring business.

Babe Cave, which had become popular for its local women-centered events, began offering pop-up events throughout the city.

Now, Guzman is back in a permanent space and plans to recreate the original essence of Babe Cave.

The craft cocktail menu will offer signature drinks and seasonal offerings. The grand opening menu includes seven signature craft drinks priced from $16 – $22. Guests can expect spins on classic drinks, like the I’ll Have a Grace Jones, a cocktail similar to an espresso martini. There are also unique flavor pairings, like the Bad Girl Riri, a chai-infused rum with pineapple, vanilla, fig, lime and orange flavors.

There will also be charcuterie and desserts available.
