POSITION TITLE: Donations Center Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Workforce Development and Resource Manager

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Founded in 2000, Dress for Success Charlotte provides a full spectrum of workforce development programs and services, including job preparedness, job acquisition, employment retention and career advancement, to no and low-income women seeking employment as a means to achieve upward economic mobility and strengthen their families.

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Donation Center Coordinator is a full-time position and directly responsible for: leading the Operations Center daily tasks, including receiving and managing individual and corporate apparel donations; overseeing inventory reduction and special events; volunteer recruitment and cultivation, oversight of volunteer projects; and maintaining a safe, efficient and professional environment. Additionally, this position will support the organization and team as needed with special events and projects.

Job Description
Leadership
• Serve as staff lead for all aspects of apparel donation process
• Oversee the management, recognition, and engagement of Operations Center volunteers
• Ensure that the facility is well maintained, organized, operates at peak performance, and presents a professional image
• Represent the mission of Dress for Success Charlotte to potential partners, volunteers, clients, donors and funders as needed

Reporting and Fiscal Management
• Monitor, manage, and advise on Operations Center expenditures
• Provide monthly, semi-annual and annual reports to capture all Operations Center activities
• Seek in-kind donations of product, facilities, and services where reasonable and as needed
• Work closely with staff to identify and define Operations Center volunteer needs
• Coordinate outreach and oversee group volunteer projects in Operations Center
• Oversee year-end inventory process to ensure compliance with accountants and DFS WW

Experience Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in retail management and/or warehouse operations
• Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• High level of organizational and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, flexible and able to pivot as the situation warrants
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to evolving and collaborative work environment

Additional requirements:
• Ability to lead, persuade, and influence others
• Skilled in strategic thinking and planning
• Ability to regularly lift 30 pounds
