ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.

Works with Agency stakeholders and the Research and Analytics Department to identify potential research needs and define the scope of potential research projects.

Plans, develops, and implements Agency research projects.

Collects, analyzes and reports on data gathered through research projects including maintaining accurate and timely records of the research project design and results.

Works with the Research and Analytics Department to perform computer data analysis of data gathered through the research process.

Evaluates and interprets the data collected and the research methods used to insure validity of the research.

Prepares progress reports and presentations to communicate the status and findings of the Agency’s research projects and methods.

Assists as needed in the development and modification of business, program, service and internal operations process design for Agency stakeholders.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in social research, business studies, mathematics or statistics.  At least three years of experience in research, information analysis or program evaluation; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
