POSITION SUMMARY:
This position functions as the administrative liaison between Charlotte Radiology and the USRS RCM team and is primarily responsible for RCM management and analytical support to Charlotte practice leadership. This includes communication and related RCM education to CR physicians, clinical and administrative staff. This person is part of the CR “leadership” team and will function as a thought partner and decision support around practice level decisions and their impact on the overall CR and USRS revenue cycle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary liaison between Charlotte Radiology (CR) and the USRS RCM team. Primarily responsible for RCM mgmt. and analytical support to CR leadership on RCM matters
Manages, creates, and leads communication of RCM dashboards and management reporting as applicable for CR RCM needs (provides insight to primary trends and variances)
Manages RCM education to CR physicians (includes physician dictation compliance), clinical and administrative staff
Manage internal processes related to government regulated billing compliance (PQRS, MIPS, MACRA)
Functions as primary advocate for RCM needs, process changes, & reporting requirements for CR
Functions as primary liaison between RCM team, practice leadership and USRS managed care team regarding renegotiation updates, changes to payer agreements, and CR fee schedule changes

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in revenue cycle management
Experience in Radiology, Revenue Cycle Management, Clinical background or Analytics field
Ability to present to senior leadership and lead through influence in a matrixed environment
Previous process improvement experience- Six Sigma/Lean a plus

Education/Licensing/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology, Billing, or Healthcare Management
Six Sigma or Lean Certification a plus

Knowledge and Skills:
Computer literate, with strong analytical skills
Staff management skills
Team leader and interpersonal skills
Outstanding communication skills with all levels of the organization
Ability work to independently and in a team capacity
Ability to work and manage in a matrix environment
Relationship building between CR practice and USRS RCM team

Travel Required (% of time):
0-25%

Lifting to 25 pounds
Normal business hours are M-F with occasional work outside of the normal day shift
