Lydia’s Legacy held the 6th annual Teal Tea Party on Sunday, August 27 at Byron’s South End. Guests arrived fashionably dressed in teal, the color used to symbolize ovarian cancer awareness. Attendees competed for prizes for best dressed male and female, best hat and best shoes. Lydia’s Legacy was founded in 2011 by Carin Ross Johnson of Charlotte in honor of her mother, Lydia Jon Greene, who passed away from complications of uterine cancer in 2010.
