Wildlife and Birds Photography

Saturday, May 4, 2019
This may be the only bird photography class where you get to practice with real birds ready for their close-ups!

This weekend photography experience is only offered twice a year by Carolina Raptor Center. In addition to expert instruction, you will have an opportunity to photo the stars of the Raptor Center collection both for portraits and in flight. The second day will include a nature photography walk led by Ron Clark of the Mecklenburg Audubon Society.

Wildlife and bird photography is a specialized form of photography that does require some special equipment and a few specialized skills. But it’s not that hard to get good results if you know what to practice and have a little patience. It’s not even that expensive to get started anymore!
