Where is Social Justice in the Criminal Justice System?

The Social Justice Committee of Reeder Memorial Baptist Church is hosting a panel discussion on the incarceration of women of color.

The panel will be comprised of Superior Court Judge Lou Trosch, District Attorney Spencer Merriweather and Sheriff Garry McFadden. All are policy makers and persons of influence that directly impact Women of Color lives in the judicial system. Attorney Renee Little who has done tremendous work in the area of implicit bias also is on the panel.

The moderators will be Attorney Rhonda Patterson and Community Change Agent, Brandi Williams. Also on the program is County Commissioner District 4 representative Mark Jerrell and newest addition District Court Judge Aretha Blake.

The event is organized for March Women's History Month.
