Urban Stream Advocacy Training

Saturday, February 10, 2018
Our goal for this training is to give urban communities the tools necessary to identify, document and report issues in their neighborhoods, as well as ways citizens can be proactive in maintaining a healthy creek/stream in their community.

Led by our Riverkeeper, this training will include instruction on the latest techniques, procedures, legal aspects, and historical knowledge to properly monitor urban waterways. There is also an in-the-field component.

Training is free and open to the public. All necessary materials will be provided. No previous knowledge is needed. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet or dirty. Lunch will be provided.
