Founded in 2013 by singer-songwriter Arsena Schroeder, The Unplugged+ Live Series is a touring concert series in support of independent singer-songwriters. The series was initially a house concert with the idea of a listening-room experience in mind. In 2015, Unplugged+Live received grant funding from the NC Arts and Science Council. Since then the series has drawn local, regional, and national acts expanding from private living rooms into local venues across the region. Each show features two (or three) hand-selected acts for an intimate show allowing listeners to engage with their original work. To date, over 60 regional acts have featured in this series now expanding to Atlanta, GA and Austin, TX.
