Charlotte Kids Fest

Saturday, October 5, 2019
The third annual Charlotte Kids Fest will help children explore the world around them, while introducing families to UNC Charlotte programs. The free event offers fun and educational activities and live performances covering five activity areas: LEARN! DISCOVER! CREATE! PLAY! and GO! Entertainment will include robotics, magic, yoga, martial arts, math, science and technology, music, dance, emergency and construction vehicle tours, storybook readings, exercise, sports, arts and crafts, and live cultural and musical performances. UNC Charlotte academic departments will help to bring subjects to life in creative, engaging and kid-captivating ways.

Each zone will have programs, organizations and services that support child development to engage kids through fascinating hands-on activities. Last year, the Charlotte Kids Fest attracted 7,000 attendees. More information about the festival, participants, performances and parking is available online at and Facebook at

Attendees may park in the CRI Deck for free or take LYNX to JW Clay Blvd Station.
