24th Annual McCrorey YMCA MLK Holiday Breakfast

Guest speaker will be Pamela R. Lue-Hing, author of "Pink Slip to POWERHOUSE: 12 Steps to Next."

Lue-Hing has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Public Relations from Wayne State University and is a board certified life coach and human behavior consultant. A native of Detroit, Michigan, she and her family have made Charlotte home for more than 12 years, and Pamela has been steadfast in serving the Mecklenburg County community. Since 2009, she has served in various capacities for the Young Black Leadership Alliance (YBLA), a leadership development and non-profit program for high school students. She also served on the Mecklenburg County Small Business and Entrepreneur Advisory Board from 2012 – 2014 and led Mecklenburg County Commissioner Vilma D. Leake’s Small Business Consortium from 2011 – 2017.

Pamela has received several awards for her service including the 2014 Business Award for Outstanding Contributions in the Business Community presented by the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs Inc. She is a proud and active member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Tickets are available for purchase at the McCrorey YMCA Sales & Service Center. Limited tickets will also be available day of at the Charlotte Convention Center.

Proceeds from this event will be used to provide youth and families in the northwest corridor with programs that will improve academic outcomes.
