2021 Mental Heath Summit

Join us for the 2021 Mental Health Summit titled Advancing Equitable Mental Health Outcomes for Racially/Ethnically Diverse Populations. This year’s virtual summit is in partnership with the UNC Charlotte School of Social Work, Department of Counseling, Urban Education Collaborative, Race and Social Equity Academy and Center for Counseling and Psychological Services.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Rheeda Walker, award-winning Professor of Psychology, Licensed Psychologist, Researcher and author of The Unapologetic Guide to Black Mental Health. Guest speakers and presenters include: Victor Armstrong MSW, Dr. Sonyia Richardson, Revella Nesbit, M.Ed., LCMHCS, Rev. Dr. Karen L. Owens, Diana Duncan, Rep. Carla Cunningham, Yazmin Garcia Rico, MSW, and Dr. LaTonya Summers.
