Electric vehicle charging unit manufacturer Alpitronic America, Inc. chose Mecklenburg County for its new headquarters.
The company will invest $9.3 million in a facility off Westpark Drive in West Charlotte and bring 300 jobs to the Queen City.
Why it matters: The majority of the new jobs will be product developers, engineers, and service technicians, with an average salary of $90,158.
