UPDATE: Vaniah Nichols returned home last night safely and is with her family.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Vaniah Nichols.
Nichols was last seen at Target at 8120 University Boulevard, according to a news release from the department.
Police say her family is concern for her well-being because of “Nichols’ history and mental health.”
She stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Nichols was last seen wearing a purple and brown striped long sleeve shirt, and dark brown sweatpants.
Anyone with information on Nichols’ whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.Â
