Natalie Frazier’s morning started with key card troubles when she tried to enter her building, but things got better from there.

The CEO of The Arts Empowerment Project was surprised with $5,000 worth of computer equipment from Empowering the Carolinas, a partnership between the Carolina Panthers and Lenovo that gifts funding to area organizations.

Former football safety Roman Harper presented Frazier with the donation and expressed appreciation for what she’s done in the community.

The Arts Empowerment Project provides arts programming and social development to underserved youth in an effort to help them “thrive, not just survive,” according to Frazier.

The new technology — computers, monitors and wireless charging pads — will help the organization reach youth who cannot visit the organization in person.
