At the Bohemian: a Wine Bar, guests can expect an eclectic space with lots of art in a laid-back atmosphere. Located in Plaza Midwood, the bar features a fresh-air patio and cozy dining area inside. The bar offers a variety of wines, cheeses, and charcuterie that wine lovers will find perfectly paired.

The Bohemian also has a monthly wine club. Members have access to monthly gatherings, discounts, and private tastings! The bar also hosts wine-themed events throughout the year..

The Culture Shop CLT

Snack and browse during a stroll through The Culture Shop CLT, a fully-stocked store and cafe that sells niche items for lovers of wine. The shop provides a cool space for people to browse selections at their leisure. The Culture Shop also sells provisions like cheese, seafood, and more that shoppers can partake in. Here, guests are invited to really enjoy the store and take in its essence like they would a pinot grigio, slowly.

Wine Down Wednesday at Stadium Lounge

This weekly event is considered “Charlotte’s Dopest Afterwork Vibe”. Wine Down Wednesdays features a good wine and a good time. The DJ plays the latest hits in R&B and hip hop to set the tone for a good time. Happy hour has never been more chill than it is each week at Uptown’s Stadium Lounge. The 2-story space and patio mean both indoor and outdoor sips of wine by the bottle, hookah, and a chance to meet-up with friends. While at Wine Down Wednesdays, you never know who you could run into or who you might meet.

Davidson Wine Co.

Located in Davidson’s historic downtown district, this area favorite is considered an urban winery that boasts rich local history as its backdrop. Davidson Wine Co. is the place to visit for a refined experience that features a robust wine menu with selections in locally-made vino and imports, including their own brand. The wine bar also has small bites, like the seasonally-inspired charcuterie board.

Wine Me Down Charlotte Winery Tour

This year-round wine tour experience is a great way to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion. On a Wine Me Down tour, expect to be chauffeured to all of CLT’s most popular wine spots while experiencing unique tasting rooms with a glass, or two, in hand. The tour also includes breathtaking views at a local vineyard. 

Wine Me Down offers private group tours, bachelorette-themed tours, team-building or company retreats, and more. They also offer distillery and brewery tours.

Tour happens throughout the city.

Wine Club at Foxcroft Wine Co.

Each month, members of the Wine Club at Foxcroft Wine Co. receive two pre-selected wines. Foxcroft bases the wine selection on a new theme every month to keep the membership interesting. Members can also. attend, and bring a plus one, to monthly wine-tastings. Whether you’re a wine veteran or newbie, the Foxcroft staff can present recommendations tailored to your flavor preferences. While this may like seem the total package already, it gets better. Foxcroft also serves food. Guests can indulge in salmon, truffle fries, and more.

Wine Vault

Every-single-Wednesday, Wine Vault invites guests to taste their finest selections of wines with friends. Guests can purchase entire bottles to enjoy on the patio outside or taste by the glass. Located at The Shoppes at University Place, Wine Vault not only serves beverages, but provides entertainment. Guests can enjoy weekly performances from local artists, and, if you’re brave enough, you might even have your own 15 minutes of fame during the boardwalk action.

Vibe Cafe & Wine

This chill spot is a family-friendly cafe by day and a wine & beer bar by night. Unlike most wine spots in Charlotte, Vibe Cafe & Wine attempts to transport you to Athens, Greece. The authentic Grecian bites pair well with the wine selection and dinner servings. The staff is willing to answer any questions about the wine selection or their food options.
