Charlotte Ballet has been part of the Queen City arts scene for more than three decades. What started as a group of dancers and artists in Winston-Salem, has evolved to a thriving organization focused on growing alongside the city of Charlotte. Charlotte Ballet’s dynamic programming from dance classes for children and adults, community events empowering neighbors to stay moving and inspiring performances throughout the year invites supporters and audiences a chance to be connected to the arts.
And you can join Charlotte Ballet this year! The 2022/2023 Season begins in October, led by new Artistic Director Alejandro Cerrudo. Whether you want to enjoy a classic ballet like Nutcracker or see a contemporary performance like Under the Lights, which focuses on the life, love and music of Johnny Cash, there’s a Charlotte Ballet show you’ll love.
