On Thursday, Blumenthal Performing Arts held a launch party to preview its inaugural Charlotte International Arts Festival.
The 17-day event runs Sept. 16 through Oct. 2. in uptown Charlotte and at Ballantyne’s Backyard. Many of the 200-plus events are free.
