Sports and parties won’t be the only thing happening in Charlotte for the Duke’s Mayo Classic. Events that Labor Day weekend also will include a College and Career fair.

People attending the event can connect with schools doing on-site admissions and network with corporations looking to hire. 

The fair will begin with a program featuring members of 100 Black Men, who will talk with high school students about the organization and Aggie-Eagle Classic. 

Several North Carolina HBCUs — Elizabeth City State, Winston-Salem State, Johnson C. Smith and more — will be there for on-site admissions.

One focus on the fair will be connecting college and high school students to career resources, said event planner Raukell Robinson.
