–Cuzzo’s Cuisine is the latest Black-owned restaurant to join the vendor lineup at this year’s Presidents Cup golf tournament, Sept. 20-25 at Quail Hollow Country Club. It joins What The Fries, which was announced previously.

–Black Business Owners of Charlotte will host a food truck cook-off, culminating Sept. 3 at the Duke’s Mayo Classic, where N.C. A&T will play N.C. Central in a football matchup at Bank of America Stadium. The food truck chefs will compete to see who can create the best dish using Duke’s mayonnaise.

–Sol Nation, a Charlotte group focused on environmental and social justice, will host a zero-waste event on Thursday, June 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at West Complex in the Historic West End. Sol Nation will be joined by United States Climate Action Network, a leading group for climate change organizers.
