The Coca-Cola 600
One of NASCAR’s biggest races with their greatest stars is happening this Sunday, May 29 at 6pm. Tickets in the Turn 4 Sun Deck are still on sale — it’s standing room only, but you can bring your own food and drinks. The Sun Deck definitely gives off party vibes. Aside from the big race, there are events packed into every hour of the weekend at the Speedway.
Friday, May 27
As you approach the speedway, you’ll see a huge ferris wheel — it opens at 2pm.
The Globe of Death accurately describes the tricks and stunts these motorcyclists will perform for your entertainment at 2pm and 3:30pm.
The Xpogo Stunt Team features athletes flying over 10 feet in the air on extreme pogo sticks while they perform tricks and stunts at 2:30pm, 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
King BMS Stunt Show will also perform jaw dropping tricks at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series NC Education Lottery 200 is at 8:30pm
Flo Rida takes the stage outside the speedway at 9:30pm – free for race ticket holders, and just $20 otherwise.
Saturday, May 28
The Ferris Wheel opens at 9am Saturday morning, followed by BMX, Xpogo and Globe of Death shows.
Full Steel Combat shows have knights fighting with axes, swords and shields at 11:30am, 4pm and 6pm.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series Alsco Uniforms 300 starts at 1pm, and the Coca Cola 600 Qualifiying race is at 7:35pm.
End Saturday night hearing the Steve Miller Band perform live.
Sunday, May 29 — Coca-Cola 600 race day
The Ferris Wheel opens at 10am, followed by Full Steel Combat, Xpogo, and motorcycle shows all day.
Drivers like Kurt Busch, Joey Logano and Daniel Saurez will make appearances at 3:15pm.
A Lynyrd Skynyrd pre-race concert starts at 3:50, followed by a military appreciation show at 4:55pm.
Finally, the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 starts at 6pm.
