This weekend I swung by Vinyl, a new restaurant in SouthEnd Charlotte.
The weather was just nice enough to stop in and spend a day grabbing dinner with friends but could just as easily be a late-night kick back.
Vinyl, a music-themed restaurant as the name suggests, has a small menu that mainly consists of shared plates, but also offers burgers, sandwiches, and salads.
For this trip, I tried the $12 Vinyl Burger. The two-patty sandwich was hot, well seasoned and just the right size to fill me up.
The fries were delicious and just enough to go around for me and two friends.
One menu item that caught me by surprise was the Lenny Boy Wake-Up Call draft beer. The kicker? It’s a non-alcoholic drink.
It packed the taste and flavor of an actual draft beer without any alcoholic content, a great drink for anyone to try.
During my visit, the service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance made for a nice hang-out atmosphere.
The overall setting was very laid back and casual so whether you’re on a lunch break or out on the town with friends, it feels comfortable.
If you’re ever in Southend, I recommend swinging by, it was a nice way to finish off my weekend.
