A Charlotte-Mecklenburg School teacher has been arrested on child pornography charges, officials report.
Authorities have charged Adrian Wayne Taylor with three counts of Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Cyber Crime Unit have charged Adrian Wayne Taylor with Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
According to a statement by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, on Nov. 24, the CMPD Cyber Crimes Unit and the FBI began this investigation into the possession and distribution of illegal pornographic material.
On Tuesday, CMPD, along with Matthew Police Department, conducted a search warrant in the 200 block of Courtney Lane in Matthews, NC.
Physical evidence of the crime of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor was located during the search warrant.
Taylor, who was present at the address, was identified as the suspect, arrested and charged.
He is a teacher at Community House Middle School in Charlotte, NC.
