A “teenage juvenile” was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting late Saturday at an office complex in east Charlotte.

The authorities withheld the teen’s name because of his age.

Police were sent to the scene, at 6630 East W.T. Harris Blvd, after someone called to report hearing gunshots. When officers arrived around 11 p.m., they found a “teenage juvenile male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the head,” according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department statement.

Two other people were taken to a hospital with “minor, non-life-threatening injuries,” according to CMPD: One was a 16-year-old girl who fell after the incident; the other was a 50-year-old male who “suffered head trauma.”

CMPD did not say what led to the shooting, and the department announced no arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call 704-432-TIPS to speak with a homicide detective, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
