A man died early Tuesday after he was found with a gunshot wound inside a car that crashed in the University City area.
Police identified the victim as Kenny Ollemi, 53.
According to CMPD, officers were sent to the 8300 block of Classic Drive shortly after midnight to investigate a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. When they got there, they found Ollemi still inside the car, which had crashed. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Investigators believe Ollemi was shot while inside the car. CMPD did not indicate whether Ollemi was driving when he was shot.
CMPD did not name a suspect or indicate a motive for the shooting.
