Qcitymetro will give away a prize package to attend five of the hottest shows during Charlotte Jazz Festival, courtesy of our partners at Blumenthal Performing Arts. The festival runs April 29 – May 4 in uptown Charlotte.

Camille Thurman with The Darrell Green Trio: Watch and listen as Camille Thurman joins forces with The Darrell Green Trio and jazz legend Wynton Marsalis to kick off the 2019 Charlotte Jazz Festival.

Havana Nights: The ultimate Latin Jazz dance party, where Gino Castillo & The Cuban Cowboys will bring their Cuban jazz flare to the Jazz Tent! Featuring a mixture of talented musicians.

JLCO Spaces: Join Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra as they present an all-new composition for orchestra and dance by Wynton Marsalis titled “Spaces.”

Saturday Morning Jazz Brew: Ocie Davis takes the stage for a morning full of sweet jazz sounds with special guests Stephanie Jordan and Jamil Sharif.

Patina Miller Sings Nina Simone: Tony Award winner and star of the hit CBS drama “Madam Secretary” Patina Miller lends her vocals to pay tribute to the late, great Nina Simone in an evening of unforgettable music.

How it works:

  • You must enter our contest (below) no later than Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
  • One winner will be randomly selected from those who register.
  • Winner will be notified on April 25 and will have 4 hours to claim tickets.
  • If tickets aren’t claimed, we’ll pick a new name and repeat the process.
  • Our judges have the final say.
