One man was shot at the Concord Mills movie theater on Sunday evening, according to Concord police.
Around 6 p.m., authorities responded to a shooting at the AMC Theaters at Concord Mills Mall where a male victim had suffered from a single gunshot wound. His injuries didn’t appear to be life-threatening.
Officials said the incident resulted from an argument over seating inside of the theater.
Police described the suspect as a black male with short dreads wearing a black-and-white striped shirt while in the company of a black female. They don’t believe that the victim and suspect knew each other.
Both the movie theater and the mall closed as a result of the shooting.
