Mecklenburg County Commissioner Trevor Fuller announces run for U.S. Senate in 2020

At-large County Commissioner Trevor Fuller announced that he’d look to unseat Republican incumbent Thom Tillis in the U.S. Senate race in 2020.

Mecklenburg County Commissioner Trevor Fuller has thrown his hat in the ring for U.S. Senate in 2020.

Fuller announced on Tuesday that he’d look to unseat Republican incumbent Thom Tillis. According to The Charlotte Observer, Fuller accused Tillis of standing with President Donald Trump rather than standing up for North Carolinians.

Fuller is serving in his fourth term as county commissioner.
