Reason #1: It feels good to experience an event that is giving back to the Charlotte community. All profits from the benefit book release — 100% — will be donated to Leadership Charlotte. Justin Jones-Fosu is a current member of Leadership Charlotte Class 40. Leadership Charlotte’s mission is to develop and enhance volunteer community leadership by providing a diverse group of emerging and existing leaders with the opportunity to increase their community knowledge, civic network, and service to the community. This is one of the ways that Justin is choosing to give back to Charlotte in a fun and exciting way. Justin’s donation will help future participants to experience the city in a new way and understand how they can better serve!
Reason #2: You can keep achieving the most important goals in your life! Recent research states that 80% of resolutions fail by February, and Justin will show you how to keep your goals moving forward. Justin is not a strong believer in new resolutions, but rather life goals, and he will show you how to continue, create, and complete your most challenging goals all year long. Justin will be sharing his most requested presentation over the last five years. He is booked by some of the world’s best companies and organizations (i.e. Mercedes Benz, John Deere, Home Depot, Fidelity Bank, Cornell University, and 5th graders right here in North Carolina!
Reason #3: Everybody loves to have F…U…N… and meet new people! No, this isn’t some acronym that stands for something amazingly wise. It is going to be a fun experience that will be memorable. Yes, there will be liquid sunshine (happy hour); yes, there will be music by Charlotte’s own Harvey Cummings; yes, there will be delicious hors d’oeuvres, but all of this will culminate with a presentation unlike any you have seen. Not only will you be inspired, but you will be entertained with Justin’s humorous presentation style. Are you tired of the normal networking events? Well, this event will be a position-less relationship-building time. During the happy hour, you will be discouraged from talking about who you work for and what you do professionally, but will be encouraged to learn who people are. You will be able to build relationships with some of Charlotte’s best and brightest during the “positionless” happy hour! Learn more about who people are and less about what people do!
