It’s hard to ignore all the good things happening in Charlotte’s University City area. Take Kid’s Fest, for example.
For the second year, University City Partners has teamed up with a host of sponsors to present an all-day festival to inspire children. It’s part of the organization’s mission to make U-City a great place to live, work and raise a family.
The festival begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
The mission of the Charlotte Kids Fest is to inspire and motivate young minds with artistic, creative, educational and playful experiences that transform a child’s understanding of the world around them and what’s possible.
The event is FREE to attend, but proceeds raised through corporate sponsorships will go to benefit the Library Foundation.
With the CATS Blue Line Extension now up and running, getting there has never been easier. The outdoor location — 9100 Robert D. Snyder Road – is an easy walk from the JW Clay Blvd Station.
