They may be the few and the proud, but expect to see plenty of U.S. Marines in town for Marine Week Charlotte. There are nearly 50 public events/activities to participate in through Sunday.
The Marine Air Ground Task Force Show and the parade will likely be the biggest draws, but make sure to check out the mural unveiling ceremony at the Charlotte Art League on Saturday. The mural features Charlotte native Howard Perry, the first black Marine recruit.
Have a great weekend!
