A 59-year-old man died early Friday following a family dispute in South Charlotte, police said.
At 3:42 a.m., officers were sent to a home in the 400 block of Mountainview Drive in reference to what investigators said was a domestic dispute. When police arrived, they found an unconscious adult male, later identified as Joseph Henry Grosjean.
Grosjean was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews, where he later died.
CMPD did not disclose the nature of Grosjean’s injuries but said he had been involved in an altercation between family members. Family members who were home at the time were taken to police headquarters for questioning.
CMPD said detectives were not looking for additional suspects.
