In separate incidents on Sunday, two people were shot and killed in Charlotte’s latest homicides.
The first was reported at 6:43 a.m. in the 9200 block of Trinity Road in north Charlotte. Police identified the victim as Doral Watson Jr., 29.
The second fatal shooting was reported at 9:42 p.m. in the 4300 block of John Penn Circle in east Charlotte. That victim was identified as Keith Ify Nmoma, 35.
The killings represented the city’s 71st and 72nd homicides of 2017.
CMPD gave no information about a suspect or potential motive in either shooting.
