Last weekend trombonist Buff Dillard closed out the last free summer series concert at Stonecrest. The weather was perfect for an evening of jazz, wine and delicious food. If you enjoy jazz and R&B, check out Buff around town. He’s Charlotte’s favorite trombonist.
Festival in the Park brought large crowds to Freedom Park. I’m a huge lover of art and crafts. Shout out to Lillian and Eric for keeping me entertained at their caricature both.
Kenya Crooks! If you’re not familiar with the name you better ask someone. Kenya helped Mama June of the Honey Boo Boo reality show to shed 80 pounds. Kenya, a fitness guru, was in town last weekend for a free workout event for the Charlotte ladies at the Airport Holiday Inn. Not only is Kenya easy on the eyes, he’s also one of the best workout motivators around. I hate it for you if you missed out.
Check out my weekend picks.
