Navigating CIAA Week is about to get easier, thanks to a new mobile app set for released this winter.
The conference announced Tuesday that it has teamed up with Aloompa, of Nashville, to produce the app.
Some of the app’s core features will be:
• information on gameday ticket prices
• hotel reservations
• customizable event schedule
• tournament brackets
• GPS map
• featured performers and event details
The app also will include a stream of conference news and social media posts, and other points of interest, such as restaurants, exhibitors, and vendors.
The app will not include parties and events not sanctioned by the CIAA.
CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams said the app will be a “more progressive and innovative way for our students, alumni, and attendees to blend the athletic, social, educational and professional components of our annual tournament.”
