What’s happening, Charlotte?

It’s that time of year again for The Gray Classic. The four-day event, which includes a golf tournament and several networking opportunities, kicked off Thursday night at the Levine Museum of the New South with the Business Round Table. It concludes Sunday with a farewell brunch.

It’s a great weekend to party with purpose and give back to the community. Inspire the Fire is hosting a fundraising event at Roc’s Jazz Bar, and Bonterra Restaurant is hosting a Bastille Day Celebration to benefit the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas.

There are also a lot of free things to do this weekend. Power 98 is hosting Bubble on Sundays and charging no cover at the door. Plus, stand-up comedian Mark Gregory is giving a free performance at Victory Christian Center.

Finally, mark your calendar for July 29. Qcitymetro.com is hosting a Meet & Greet and Day Party at Fire House Bar & Lounge. Come out and meet the writers, staff and creative team behind Qcitymetro.com. Be sure to bring your business card for a chance to win a Qcitymetro promotional package valued at $1,000 for your business or nonprofit organization.
