What’s happening in Charlotte this weekend? A lot. And you don’t even have to wait for the weekend to officially begin to have some fun.

If you are looking for something to do Thursday night, consider swinging by The Underground at the AvidXchange Music Factory for a screening of “The Hip Hop Fellow,” a documentary about North Carolina native 9th Wonder. The film traces his 2012-15 tenure as a Fellow at Du Bois Institute at Harvard University where he taught and explored hip-hop’s role in academia. (Details)

Bechtler By Night

Those who haven’t walked the vibrant halls of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art at Levine Center for the Arts will never have a better opportunity than during the museum’s newest monthly program, Bechtler By Night. Sponsored by Bank of America, Bechtler By Night offers free admission and gallery activities from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the third Friday of each month. (Details)

November Poetry Slam featuring DJ Rogers
