The Mecklenburg district attorney’s office has been asked to decide whether criminal charges will be filed in connection to a Sunday homicide in northwest Charlotte.
The victim was identified as Lloyd Darren Davis, 56.
According to CMPD, officers were dispatched to a home in the 8300 block of Woodford Bridge Drive, just off Beatties Ford Road, at 2:30 p.m. in relation to a domestic dispute. When the officers arrived, they found a male dead inside the home.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that there was an altercation between a male and female inside the residence,” the department said in a statement released to local media.
The female was questioned at police headquarters, and the case was turned over to the D.A.’s office.
