Yes, that's me at BluNotes, pictured with DJ Krazy T, who will gladly help you choose your favorite songs each Karaoke Night on Tuesday.

This past weekend I decided to kick back and take it easy. I caught spectacular Memorial Day sales and checked out the movie “The Meddler” starring Susan Sarandon in the role of Marnie, a New Jersey transplant who follows her daughter to California after the death of her husband. Marnie doesn’t have any business of her own and managers to find herself in everyone else’s business until she stumbles upon a life of her own. Thumbs up for this entertaining chick flick.

I also checked out funnyman Craig Robinson at The Comedy Zone. He not only entertained the crowd with his jokes about his weight and experience at Carowinds, he stayed an extra hour for us to enjoy his piano skills and sing-alongs.

Speaking of sing-alongs: you don’t have to wait until the weekend to have some fun. BluNotes of Charlotte offers karaoke on Tuesday night. Grab some friends and have some fun with DJ Krazy T.

Now for my weekend picks. I hope to see you on the town.
