Stormin Norman and Gerald Albright. Yes, that was the scene last weekend at Knight Theater Uptown, where jazz lovers celebrated the 10th anniversary of jazz with diva Tammy Greene. The sold-out show had patrons on their feet as guitarist Norman Brown and sax man Gerald Albright tagged teamed on some of their top favorite hits.
Speaking of jazz, David Sanborn will be in town Dec. 5. http://qcitymetro.com/event/an-evening-with-david-sanborn/
I celebrated Thanksgiving with loved ones and didn’t miss a beat between eating dinner and watching the Panthers/Cowboy game. I think it’s safe to assume (from what I saw on Facebook) we all had a great time celebrating.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday, and check out my weekend picks.
