Grammy Award-winning singer Monica is coming to the Fillmore Charlotte Nov. 29 as part of her upcoming tour, “The Code Red Experience,” with special guest Rico Love.
The tour kicks off Nov. 12 in Las Vegas and will stop in 20 cities, including Myrtle Beach on Nov. 25, Raleigh on Nov. 28, and Atlanta on Dec. 3.
In a statement released by Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, the multi-platinum selling artist said the tour would give her an opportunity to “showcase and fight for R&B music, a genre that’s so meaningful…”
She added, “…it’s also an opportunity to reconnect with the people that have supported my music for two decades. Music has a spirit and that spirit, when properly moved, touches hearts.”
Monica’s top hits include “Don’t Take It Personal” and “Before You Walk Out of My Life”and “Just Right for Me.
Her upcoming album, “Code Red,” is slated for release this fall.
