Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. suffered a torn Achilles tendon Sunday and will miss the rest of the season, coach John Harbaugh announced.
Smith was helped off the field after suffering the injury late in the third quarter of Sunday’s 29-26 win over the San Diego Chargers, ESPN.com reported.
He went down with 1 minute, 59 seconds left in the third quarter after catching a 17-yard pass to convert a third down. He immediately grabbed the Achilles on his right leg.
