Two people were shot, one of them fatally, during a Sunday morning altercation in west Charlotte.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, the shootings happened around 10:48 a.m. in the 2400 block of Arty Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found one shooting victim inside a vehicle. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. He was identified as Marvin Harrison, 26.

A second shooting victim was found inside a home at the location. He was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury to a leg.

Police described the shootings as domestic-related.

Based on their early reports, police believe that Harris first shot the man inside the home. He was then shot and killed by a female at the home after he and the female got into a struggle.

Police did not identify the woman or say what started the fight.
