The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) once again will host its annual Education Day as part of the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament. Attendees will be able to meet with CIAA institutions face-to-face and learn tips to prepare for college as well as get the inside track on the collegiate experience. The high school program will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the middle school program will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
College recruiters attending Education Day include schools from Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The program is free to middle school and high school students from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, as well surrounding North Carolina counties and other states.
