Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. – Charlotte Alumnae Chapter will lead Mecklenburg County in a community walk to raise awareness and support survivors and victims of violence in our community. The Walk’s goal is to uplift survivors and those families who have lost loved ones and vocalize the effects of domestic violence, sexual assault and gender violence from families impacted from these heinous acts. The Walk will begin at 9 a.m., March 22, with onsite registration starting at 8:00 a.m. in Marshall Park (Uptown Charlotte).The walk concludes with a brief closing at Romare Bearden Park at 11:30 a..m.
