The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library has announced its annual Cotton Club Event, hosted this year by Ms. Antriece, national celebrity interviewer and great granddaughter of legendary jazz musician Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong.
Enjoy food, teen performances and great entertainment, including the Phillip O. Berry High School Jazz Band and the South Point High School Theater Department.
This event is scheduled for from 5 p.m. – 7pm. Teens may register to perform at www.imaginon.org.
Ms. Antriece is CEO of Heirs of Legends Media Inc. and has interviewed with some of the nations most influential people, including Cornel West, Tavis Smiley, Susan L. Taylor, Pauletta Pearson Washington, Wes Moore, and Tyrese D. Gibson. She also works to encourage youth to pursue the arts.
