United in Jazz begins its 2014 season with the sweet fever of hot, wholesome, entertainment from nationally acclaimed Willie Walker and the Conversation Piece Band. members of this five- star jazz ensemble have performed with members of Earth, Wind, and Fire, Atlantic Starr, and in the critically acclaimed movie, The Color Purple under the direction of Quincy Jones.
Proceeds for this performance will go to the preservation of the historic First United Presbyterian Church, founded by former slaves 147 years ago. Tickets for dinner and performance are $15. Tickets for the concert only are $10 and parking is $5.
