Charlotte’s JazzArts Initiative (JAI) is proud to announce a very special holiday show – The Music of Vince Guaraldi – on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The show is sponsored by Concentrated and part of JAI’s acclaimed monthly series –The Jazz Room @ The Stage Door Theater and includes a catered pre-reception and a silent auction to support the JAI Jazz Academy and Performance-based programs.

Vince Guaraldi is perhaps best known for his beloved piano score to the immensely popular Charlie Brown/Peanuts TV specials and movies including the seasonal favorite ā€œMerry Christmas Charlie Brown.ā€ Five of Charlotte’s top jazz pianists — Chad Lawson, Mark Stallings, Lovell Bradford, Bill Hanna, and Charles Craig — along with an ensemble of regional musicians and vocalists, will be playing the music of the legendary composer and many other holiday classics.

ā€œThis is a perfect show for the entire family and a wonderful way to jazz up your holidays,ā€ says JAI Executive Director Lonnie Davis. ā€œAnd our shows have all been selling out so we encourage everyone to get their tickets early.ā€
