John Reginald Lawrence, “Slim”, 59, of Charlotte was born August 1, 1954 to the late Beulah Elizabeth and John Ross McCullough. He departed this earthly life on August 28, 2013.
He leaves to mourn: his fiance, Deborah “Deb” Leavelle of Roanoke, Va.; daughter, Elizabeth Pegatt (DaReman) of Charlotte; son, Reginald Mayfield (Joedie) of Charlotte; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing service will be Saturday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews. Visitation wil be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
Alexander is serving the family.
