Congressman Robert Pittenger
A member of the Republican Party, Robert Pittenger has served as the U.S. Representative for North Carolina’s 9th congressional district since January of 2013. Pittenger attended the University of Texas. Pittenger served as a member of the North Carolina State Senate from the 40th district from 2003 to 2005 and a member of the 39th district from 2005 to 2008, which included portions of southeastern Mecklenburg County. Pittenger also serves on the Committee of Financial Services that oversees the entire financial services industry.
